Greene and Sabattus

Representative Stephen Wood is currently serving his fifth term in the Maine House.

Representative Stephen Wood of Sabattus is serving his fifth, non-consecutive, term in the Maine House of Representatives representing District 30, which includes the towns of Greene and Sabattus. Steve serves on the 131st Legislature’s Joint Standing Committee on Inland Fisheries and Wildlife. 

Rep. Wood served for twenty years in the United States Navy as an Aviation Hydraulic Technician from 1981-2001. Steve owns and operators of J&S Guide Service in his hometown of Sabattus.  He serves his community as a Free Mason at the Webster Lodge, and as a member of the American Legion. Steve is also a member of the Maine Professional Guides Association.

Steve and his wife, Jean, have three children; Steve, Sarah, and Nicole.  In his spare time, Rep. Wood enjoys spending time outdoors hunting, fishing, and boating.
