Rep. Paula G. Sutton
Rep. Paula Sutton is beginning her first term in the Maine House of Representatives, representing the people of House District 95 which includes Warren, Hope, Appleton and Union. She has been assigned to the Marine Resources Committee during the 128th Legislature.
Rep. Sutton currently works as a Special Projects Manager at Eastern Traders. She is also a successful entrepreneur, having owned and operated two restaurants as well as investing and renovating real estate.
She earned her Associates Degree from Becker College and continued her education at the University of Southern Maine.
Rep. Sutton lives in Warren with her husband Kerin Resch. They have two daughters, Abigail and Karly. In her spare time, she enjoys gardening, home renovation, hiking, skiing and painting.
Rep. Sutton sponsored LD 299 “An Act To Increase Voter Knowledge of Bond Issues” which requires that each voting booth in a polling place include a copy of the Treasurer of State’s statement of bond debt when there is a bond issue on a statewide ballot. This bill became law May 7, 2017.
