Representative Dick Pickett serves as the House Republican Lead on the Criminal Justice and Public Safety Committee
Rep. Pickett has served nearly four decades in law enforcement. That includes seven years as a Maine State Police Trooper, 15 years as a Maine State Police Detective and service as the Chief of Police in the Town of Dixfield.
Rep. Pickett has also served his community on the Dixfield Planning Board, Oxford County RCC Governing Board, Webb River Sportsman’s Club, Maine Chiefs of Police Association and he’s a proud member of the Sportsman’s Alliance of Maine.
He lives in East Dixfield with his wife Debra. They have two children. When he’s not serving and protecting his community, you’ll find him enjoying the Maine outdoors. He’s an avid hunter, fisherman, golfer, boater and he enjoys gardening.
